We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team, working full-time based within the Swindon area of Wiltshire. The successful candidate will assist with the service delivery of planned and reactive maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough electrical inspections, identifying and rectifying faults as needed, to ensure compliance with C1 and C2 regulations.
  • Carry out maintenance duties in accordance with contract specifications, technical drawings, and 18th Edition requirements.
  • Detect and repair electrical issues, completing certification as necessary.
  • Conduct partial or complete rewiring, first and second fix installations.
  • Maintain effective communication with tenants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence and operate transit-style vehicles safely.
Requirements
  • A recognised apprenticeship and minimum two years of experience as a fully qualified Electrician on domestic installations, refits, and property upgrades within the last five years.
  • Relevant industry qualifications, including City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition, BS7671 Edition Regulations, City & Guilds 2391 Test and Inspection, and City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 or equivalent NVQ Level 3.
  • Experience in carrying out tests and inspections, reading and interpreting specifications/drawings, and being conversant with NICEIC requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organisational skills, and ability to work methodically and calmly under pressure.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and self-motivation, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
