Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Psychological Care Professional to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Taunton. This is a rewarding role that requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for working with individuals with mental health needs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Qualified Psychologist in various tasks, including clinical assessments, developing care plans, planning and delivering individual/group programmes, and contributing to administration and research projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Qualified Psychologist with clinical assessments, scoring, and reporting
  • Develop and implement care plans for psychological treatment
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate individual/group programmes
  • Administer audits, research, and service development projects

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a degree in Psychology (2:1 or above) or equivalent, BPS (British Psychological Society) Accreditation, and preferably experience in healthcare and/or in an Assistant Psychologist role. Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this role is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. Please note that successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
