About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our multidisciplinary design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing technical delivery, commercial awareness, and experience working with water company clients.

You will be responsible for overseeing the development of junior team members, mentoring them, and ensuring they contribute effectively to projects.

A competitive salary of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, is on offer, along with a range of benefits and opportunities for career growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the technical delivery of water mains rehabilitation, network reinforcement, and pressure management projects.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary design teams and develop feasibility studies, options appraisal, and concept design.
  • Mentor and support the development of junior team members.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in a related engineering subject (e.g., civil, electrical, mechanical).
  • Commercial awareness and experience monitoring and controlling engineering budgets.
  • Experience working with water company clients and design and build contractors.
