Job Title: Commercial Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our dynamic team at AECOM. As a Commercial Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing project commercial outcomes and driving commercial best practice and learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project managers and commercial teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Apply your knowledge of contract management to enhance project performance, focusing on critical aspects like insurances, programme, delay damages, and key contract dates.
  • Use contract administration platforms to oversee and act on client communications and instructions.
  • Participate in project reviews, commercial discussions with clients and suppliers, and ensure the execution of action items.
  • Mentor technical staff to heighten their commercial awareness and expertise.
  • Work to reduce disallowed costs and efficiently manage expenditures from AECOM and its subcontractors.
Scope of Projects:
  • Energy transition projects, including green hydrogen/ammonia, offshore/onshore wind, solar farms, battery storage, and pumped hydro schemes.
  • Water engineering and water scarcity projects.
  • Digital tools and environment impact/biodiversity net gain projects.
  • International projects, including those in the Middle East and Africa.
Requirements:
  • Degree in engineering/quantity surveying or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in project, commercial, and risk management, including client-facing roles.
