About the Role

Gowling WLG is seeking an experienced Associate/Senior Associate to join our Inquiries and Investigations team on a 6 to 24 month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will have a strong background in document review and investigations, with experience working on high profile and complex matters.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the Gowling WLG team on inquiries, investigations, reviews, and other inquisitorial processes.
  • Provide advice on witness statements, drafting statements, and supporting witnesses.
  • Analyse complex information, identifying key documents and materials.
  • Lead disclosure and document review work, supervising paralegals and other team members.
  • Attend hearings to support witnesses.
  • Manage own workload, organising tasks on a day-to-day basis.
  • Participate in team training and self-development of related skills.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in document review and investigations, with experience working on high profile and complex matters. A practicing certificate in England and Wales is essential.
