**About the Role**

Hays Engineering is seeking an experienced senior engineering manager to lead our maintenance strategy and drive a culture of continuous improvement. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in process manufacturing and FMCG, with extensive experience in managing engineering projects and resources.

The role reports directly to the Operations Director and involves overseeing the maintenance budget, ordering products, capital expenditure, and resource planning to meet strict deadlines. Additionally, you will support cross-functional departments in delivering their objectives and ensure all necessary housekeeping standards are achieved.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage and lead the maintenance strategy, including planned preventative and reactive maintenance to reduce downtime
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, reviewing processes, procedures, and standards across sites
  • Support cross-functional departments in delivering their objectives and ensuring housekeeping standards are met
  • Oversee the engineering budget, spend, ordering of products, capital expenditure, and resource planning to meet strict deadlines

**What We Offer:**
