We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary school in St Austell. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational, social, and physical needs of our pupils.

Purpose of the role: To take a proactive role in supporting the teacher in the practical organisation of class activities and small group work, and to assist with the curriculum delivery.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher in the classroom, assisting with lesson planning and delivery
  • Work with small groups of children, providing additional support with reading and other subjects
  • Assist with the organisation of class activities and events
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
