About the Role

We are excited to welcome a passionate History Teacher to our team at a thriving Secondary School in Chesterfield. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experiences of our students.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the National Curriculum, with a particular focus on delivering engaging and challenging lessons up to GCSE level. You will work closely with colleagues to create a stimulating learning environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of our students, promoting active learning and engagement
  • Manage classroom behaviour proactively, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity
  • Regularly review and evaluate student progress, providing actionable feedback to drive improvement

Benefits: As a valued member of our team, you can expect a salary range of £38,000 - £45,000 per annum, paid weekly via PAYE. You will also benefit from regular professional development opportunities and a supportive working environment.

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, you must hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification and an enhanced DBS Certificate on the Online Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
