Elevator Technician

At Otis, we are seeking a highly skilled Elevator Technician to join our team in London. As a Maintenance Professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out 100% of the elevator maintenance and service visits within your defined territory
• Working within your designated geographical area, managing the portfolio of elevators within it
• Responding proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming for first-time fix
• Carrying out minor repairs to achieve continual operation
• Liaising directly with customers while on site to build a good working relationship

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent within lift repair and maintenance
• A full UK driving licence
• At least 2 years of experience in the elevator sector
• Good skills in electricity and electrical engineering
• A commitment to safety as your top priority
• The ability to communicate effectively with others
• Curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to work alone or in a team
• Comfort using electronic and digital tools
