Working Monday to Friday

Questech Recruitment is seeking a skilled Automotive Vehicle Technician to join their team in Bishop Auckland. The ideal candidate will be flexible, self-motivated, and able to work under their own initiative. This role is perfect for an experienced HGV/PSV technician looking to progress their career.

The successful candidate will have a level 3 automotive qualification and live locally to Bishop Auckland. The shift pattern is Monday to Friday.

We are looking for candidates who have ideally worked within the Commercial Automotive sector but are open to speaking to candidates who are local to Bishop Auckland and have worked as a Technician, have a full UK licence, and are happy to work within a fast-paced role and someone with a good eye for detail.

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair, and installation
  • Setting and operating of machine tools and equipment
  • Support workshops team members including Apprentice Technicians as required
  • Accurately record time to complete jobs and associated details
