The Role

We are seeking two experienced developers to join our team and help deliver an ambitious project. The successful candidates will work on creating a bespoke platform that delivers ongoing user and data development for Salford City Council, partners, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop the frontend and backend of the platform using modern technologies and best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the platform meets the needs of users and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of APIs, databases, and other technical components of the platform.
  • Participate in agile software development methodology and contribute to the team's continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in software development, with a focus on frontend and backend development.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, React, and other relevant technologies.
  • Experience with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and OWASP Top 10.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
