Cloud Imperium Games Limited is seeking a highly skilled Associate QA Lead Tester to join our Quality Assurance team.

About the Role

The Associate QA Lead Tester will work closely with the Lead QA Tester to coordinate testing efforts on all modules of the game. This includes creating, maintaining, and executing test checklists, verifying resolved issues, and working with Development and Production to create and share documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate testing efforts with the Lead QA Tester
  • Create and maintain test checklists
  • Verify resolved issues
  • Work with Development and Production to create and share documentation
  • Maintain an organized bug database
  • Highlight issues to relevant production staff
  • Support the Lead QA Tester in planning tasks and mentoring a team of QA Testers

Requirements

  • Great understanding of QA testing methodologies and technical requirements for games
  • Experience creating and/or maintaining test plans and checklists
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and defect tracking tools
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work under rapid development cycles
  • Thorough knowledge of video games development
  • Natural curiosity and enthusiasm for finding bugs
