About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mortgage Advisor to join our team at Cubitt & West. As a Mortgage Advisor, you will play a crucial role in helping our customers achieve their dream of owning their perfect property.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to assess their individual circumstances and needs
- Seek out the best financial and mortgage solutions for our customers
- Sell associated insurance products from Legal & General
- Meet and exceed targets
- Work closely with the residential estate agency team to ensure all business opportunities are maximised
- Provide coaching and support to colleagues to maintain a good referral rate
- Proactively contact existing client base as a source for new business
- Liaise with lenders to confirm product conditions are relevant for our customers
- Ensure all documentation is compliant, correct and properly witnessed and signed in line with FCA guidelines
Requirements
- You need to be driven and motivated by success, results and reward
- CEMAP 1 (minimum) Qualified or equivalent or Competency Advisor Status (CAS)
- At least 1 year's mortgage advisory experience
- A great work ethic and ability to keep up with the challenges you will face and be focused on turning the 'ordinary' into the 'extraordinary'
- Smart, articulate and well-presented
- Ambitious and self-motivated with the ability to work in a pressurised environment
- Full driving license
- Great at building relationships with customers
