About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, making appointments, and maintaining accurate records.

Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the Diabetic Eye Screening Service in Cumbria. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive timely and efficient care.

Main Responsibilities
  • To provide excellent customer service to patients, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • To make appointments for patients, taking into account their availability and location.
  • To maintain accurate records of patient interactions, including phone calls, emails, and meetings.
  • To contribute to the development of service improvements, working collaboratively with the team to identify areas for enhancement.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including databases and spreadsheets.
  • NHS experience, preferably in a similar role.
