Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Apprentice Academy Manager. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage weekly schedules to meet business needs and ensure adequate staffing.
  • Conduct night shift operations, including shift briefings and ensuring shift coverage.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement procedures to improve department performance.
  • Address guest concerns and requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date on local area information to provide personalized recommendations to guests.
  • Process check-ins, check-outs, and room service orders with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Verify and adjust billing for guests, and obtain manual authorizations when necessary.
  • Count bank at the beginning of shift and balance cash floats at the end of shift.
  • Follow Marriott Company SOPs and maintain the security of the hotel and its guests.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Marriott International policies and procedures.
