Job Title: Business Development Manager



VANRATH is proud to partner with a leading company in the fastening industry to recruit for a Business Development Manager position. Based in Dungannon, the company offers a wide range of fasteners, fixings, and bespoke parts. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a well-established organisation that values innovation and customer satisfaction.



Job Responsibilities:


  • Generate new leads and sales to grow the business within the target area
  • Develop and create a strong pipeline of potential customers
  • Understand the business and its current and prospective products and services
  • Deliver sales and business development for existing and new customers of Apex Fastening Solutions
  • Maintain all aspects of Apex Fastening Solutions' CRM system
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations and meetings
  • Attend conferences, buyer events, and sales conventions
  • Manage existing client relationships to include additional sales to their account
  • Comply with all internal and external processes and quality systems relevant to the role


Person Specification:


  • Essential Criteria:

    • Field sales background ideal or senior sales wanting to make the move into the field
    • Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation skills
    • Drive and energy to seek new leads
    • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
    • Accountability, reliability, and a hands-on approach

  • Desired Criteria:

    • Experience of working in fastenings/fixings and/or engineering consumables
    • Skills: BDM, BDE, Business Development, Fastenings, Parts, Field Sales
