Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to join our team in Liverpool, UK. As a key member of our Highway and Traffic Engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects and leading dynamic teams to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on highway and traffic engineering design and project management.
  • Interface with clients to deliver projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare contract drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Manage workloads and technical oversight of junior engineers and technicians.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on specific project outcomes.
  • Review project deliverables before issuance.
  • Contribute to business development and work-winning activities.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in highway and traffic engineering.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
  • Chartered (or near chartered) Engineer and member of a professional Institution.
