About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solicitor to join our team as a Corporate Real Estate Dispute Resolution Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality legal services to clients in all aspects of real estate dispute resolution, including residential and commercial leases, land buying and selling, and encumbrances affecting land.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge and skills, including analysing information, understanding instructions, communicating effectively, researching case law and precedents, and adhering to quality standards.
  • Ensure up-to-date professional and technical knowledge by attending CPD sessions and staying informed about market trends and client needs.
  • Meet firm-wide quality standards, including time recording, billing targets, and adherence to SRA directives and office policies.
  • Contribute to marketing and business development objectives by participating in client events, writing articles for the website and other publications, and assisting Partners with event organisation.
  • Develop self-organisational and interpersonal skills, prioritising work, demonstrating initiative, and maintaining open communication with Partners and colleagues.
  • Maintain a flexible and proactive approach to work, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
Person Specification
  • Educated to degree level (minimum 2:1) and holding a strong LPC pass or equivalent, with a current clean practising certificate from the SRA.
  • Indicatively 0-2 years' experience in this area of legal work, demonstrated through awareness of relevant legislation and experience in providing advice or consideration on relevant issues.
  • Commercially minded, able to operate, liaise, and advise to a high standard, think laterally, and commercially with and for clients.
  • Experience working to targets and time recording, with an awareness and demonstrable experience of involvement with business development activity.
  • Demonstrable commitment to customer service, providing high standards of service to clients, and a commitment to the highest quality standards together with an eye for detail.
  • A flexible approach and the ability to work to tight deadlines, with proven communication skills and adaptability in communication style to suit the audience.
  • IT literate, proficient with Microsoft applications, and self-sufficient in using document management systems and the internet as business tools.
Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
