About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team at Nicholas Hendry Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our ownership group, preparing monthly management accounts, and developing management information and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing monthly management accounts and providing financial analysis and insights to the ownership group
- Developing and implementing management information and reporting processes across various business entities
- Preparing budgets and re-forecasts, as well as VAT returns and statutory returns
- Maintaining and developing internal financial controls and processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, staff payroll, and reporting
- Overseeing intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Managing day-to-day accounts processes and providing financial support to the business
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience Accountant (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Prior working knowledge of financial management, accounting, and financial analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
