**About the Role**

This role offers a unique opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our Hft team as a Deputy Service Manager. As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and providing the highest standards of clinical and personal support and service delivery.


You will support the Service Manager to manage and ensure the delivery of the service's key quality and safety priorities by holding delegated responsibility in key areas of the day-to-day running of the supported living activity/service. You will also have delegated responsibility for the direct supervision and line management of a team of Support Practitioners.


**Key Responsibilities**



  • Support the Service Manager in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring the highest standards of clinical and personal support and service delivery.
  • Hold delegated responsibility in key areas of the day-to-day running of the supported living activity/service.
  • Be responsible for the direct supervision and line management of a team of Support Practitioners.
  • Lead by example, promoting and demonstrating good practice at all times.

**Requirements**



  • Significant, recent experience at a front-line management level in the field of learning disabilities in regulated services.
  • Knowledge of legislation and guidance relating to adults with learning disabilities, CQC regulations, and Health and Safety issues.
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care or hold a Level 3 diploma and be willing to undertake this Level 5 apprenticeship qualification within an agreed reasonable timescale of 18 months.
  • The ability to lead and manage people, being a role model in all aspects of people leadership, especially performance.
