About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team at Kids Planet Prestwich. As a Sports Coach, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality physical education and sports activities to our children, promoting their physical and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging sports and physical education sessions for children aged [insert age range]
  • Develop and implement sports programs that cater to diverse needs and abilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless integration of sports and physical education into the curriculum
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all children
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sports programs and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • Level 2 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification or willingness to complete through the Kids Planet Training Academy
  • Hold a sports-based qualification
  • Extensive knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
