We are seeking an experienced English Education Specialist to join our team at Branas School in Corwen, Denbighshire. This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week during term time.

The successful candidate will have qualified teacher status, recognised by the DfE, and the ability to work proactively alongside another experienced colleague to develop and lead English as well as a second subject.

This role offers a competitive salary of up to £36,000 per annum, plus opportunities for career progression and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach English and a second subject to students aged 11-18
  • Develop and lead curriculum plans to meet the needs of students with complex behaviours and special educational needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status, recognised by the DfE - NQTs and primary trained colleagues will be considered
  • Ability to work proactively alongside another experienced colleague
  • Experience of teaching students with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs
