About the Role
NHS Professionals Limited is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their Clinical Support Service team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions to patients, promoting their independence and well-being.
Main Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy plans, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve patient-centered outcomes.
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions, including individual and group sessions, to patients with a range of physical and mental health conditions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of occupational therapy interventions, using data and research to inform practice and improve patient outcomes.
- Advocate for occupational therapy services, promoting the value and benefits of occupational therapy to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience in an inpatient setting, preferably in areas such as Orthopaedics, Stroke Neuro Rehab, Frailty, General Medicine, Surgery, or A&E.
