About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team at this esteemed Nursery in Maidenhead, Berkshire. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing environment for children aged 2-4 years, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
  • Encourage learning through play and engaging activities
  • Support children with meals, snacks, and personal hygiene
  • Keep accurate records of children's progress through observations
  • Plan and prepare activities for the classroom, ensuring a clean and safe environment
  • Build positive relationships with parents, discussing children's daily progress
  • Lead the EYFS Holiday Club, ensuring fun and creative activities for children during the holidays
  • Manage staff schedules and ensure compliance with safety and child protection standards
Requirements
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in childcare
  • Experienced in an early years setting
  • Skilled in creating safe and stimulating play activities
  • A responsive team player who values collaboration
  • Committed to child welfare and safeguarding
  • Able to communicate effectively with both children and parents
