Baines Simmons, a leading provider of Aviation Safety Training and Consultancy Services, is seeking an Associate to deliver Military Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) training to our global customer base.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering regulatory and functional training to delegates working in or supporting a UK Military CAMO. This will involve practical exercises and delegate participation, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are explained and applied within the UK Defence Aviation Environment.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience and in-depth knowledge of the UK MAA MRP, particularly the 4900 Continuing Airworthiness Engineering (CAE) series. They will be able to explain the challenges faced by CAMO staff and provide advice and guidance on how to add value and improve efficiency within the CAMO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training sessions on UK Military CAMO roles and responsibilities
  • Explain core CAMO activities and interfaces with Designers, Maintainers, Suppliers, and Operators
  • Assist delegates in developing techniques and skills to support and improve CAMO efficiency
  • Travel globally as required as part of the role

Requirements:

  • UK based with ability to travel nationally and internationally
  • Practical experience and in-depth knowledge of the UK MAA MRP
  • Ability to explain regulatory requirements and apply them within the UK Defence Aviation Environment
