We are seeking a skilled Freelance Interpreter Translator to join our team at Language Empire. As a Freelance Interpreter Translator, you will have the opportunity to work with various clients across the UK, providing high-quality interpreting and translation services.
Job Description:As a Freelance Interpreter Translator, you will be responsible for:
- Providing accurate and timely interpreting services for clients in various settings, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organizations.
- Translating documents and materials from one language to another, ensuring cultural and linguistic accuracy.
- Working independently as a self-employed interpreter, with ongoing support from our dedicated in-house team.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
To be successful as a Freelance Interpreter Translator, you will need:
- Fluent English and another language, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The right to work in the UK and be aged 21 or over.
- Formal qualifications in interpreting or translation, such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or a degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages.
