At Fresh Horticultural Careers, we are seeking a skilled Horticultural Specialist to join our team in Paddington. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a top-class horticultural environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team to ensure activities and tasks are undertaken to the highest possible safety standards and in accordance with contract terms and KPIs.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and machinery, and refer major mechanical problems to the contract manager or workshop.
  • Liaise with clients in a professional manner, handling issues and requests efficiently and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Proactively report incidents, suggestions, or concerns regarding the site, clients, or team to the line manager.

Requirements:

  • Passionate about the environment with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent horticultural and plant knowledge.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to confidently work independently.
  • Spraying certificates – PA1, PA2, and PA6, IOSH Managing Safely qualification preferable, but not essential.
  • Experience with ride-on grass-cutting equipment and tractor driving is preferable but not essential.
  • Flexible in approach to work and willing to work outside in all weathers.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
