Financial Bookkeeping Specialist

About the Role: A skilled Client Bookkeeper is required to manage bookkeeping, management accounting, and VAT for a diverse client portfolio. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, performing regular bookkeeping duties, and assisting in the preparation of management accounts and financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain up-to-date financial records for clients
- Perform transaction recording and account reconciliations
- Assist in preparing management accounts and financial statements
- Liaise with clients to gather financial information and provide updates
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably within an accountancy practice
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Excel
- Relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualifications are preferred but not essential
