We are seeking a skilled Software Development Trainer to deliver high-quality training to Level 4 apprentices in Software Testing and Software Development Methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver two separate training modules (Software Testing & Software Development Methodologies) to Level 4 apprentices over an 8-week period.
  • Facilitate live, interactive learning sessions via Microsoft Teams.
  • Provide practical insights, real-world examples, and hands-on exercises to help apprentices understand key concepts in software testing, version control, development lifecycle models (Agile, Waterfall, etc.), and more.
  • Support apprentices in developing their skills by answering questions, providing feedback, and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
  • Ensure apprentices are equipped to apply learned skills in their day-to-day work.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Software Development or Software Testing roles.
  • A solid understanding of Software Development Methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, V-Model).
  • Ability to deliver complex topics in an engaging, easy-to-understand way.
  • Previous experience in teaching, mentoring, or coaching, preferably with apprentices or junior developers.
  • Proficient with remote delivery platforms, especially Microsoft Teams.
  • A commitment to providing an exceptional learning experience.
