Job Title: Business Analyst - Systems & Transformation

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at ASOS. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in coordinating activities for our profit model, ensuring that teams across finance deliver inputs that comply with required formats and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities for the profit model, ensuring teams across finance deliver inputs that comply with required formats and timelines.
  • Review current processes and identify areas for improvement that increase the accuracy of our allocation methods and quality of insights.
  • Work with the Financial Accounting Team and FinTech to ensure our ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics) is properly configured to support effective management reporting, cashflow forecasting, and other core FP&A processes.
  • Work with the wider finance team and FinTech to build and maintain high-quality master-data sets, with a focus on holding information in source systems and moving towards one-version-of-the-truth reporting.
  • Utilise systems and tooling, including SQL, PowerBI & Vena to support a wide range of ad-hoc queries and analysis, supporting information requests from FP&A and across finance.
Requirements:
  • Part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent), currently studying towards a professional qualification or significant experience supporting finance teams through technology platforms.
  • Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively build productive relationships across finance teams.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, with an in-depth understanding of best practices.
  • Experience using a range of forecasting and planning solutions, ideally including TM1, Vena, and Workday.
  • Experience using a range of reporting solutions, ideally including PowerBI and SQL.
