About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Sustainability Apprentice. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to deliver sustainable solutions and improve the lives of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and support to customers on practical ways to reduce energy use and promote sustainable warmth.
  • Support the development and delivery of domestic property retrofit plans to decarbonise properties and achieve net zero aspirations.
  • Conduct domestic energy assessments on livin properties and work with the Sustainability team to support the wider Planet A strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Mears Group Carbon Reduction Team to share best practices and support broader Carbon Reduction and Sustainability priorities.
  • Undertake college assignments and activities to achieve a recognised qualification in 'Junior Energy Management'.
  • Liaise with the Planner and General Manager to support with admin duties and help with booking in work as needed.
Requirements
  • GCSEs minimum national 4 in Maths and English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Interest in data and insight, with training provided.
  • Flexibility to adapt to business needs.
  • Keen to learn and enthusiastic about sustainability and customer service.
