About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Learning Disability Service as a Locum. The successful candidate will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients with learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment and management of patients with learning disabilities
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvements and innovations

Requirements

  • Registered with the GMC and licensed to practice
  • On the Specialist Register with GMC as a specialist in Learning Disabilities or eligible for CCT within 6 months
  • Experience of working with patients with learning disabilities and their families
