Job Description

We are seeking a Project Planner - Residential Construction to join our team at Watkin Jones. This role involves creating and maintaining detailed project programmes and schedules to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery of projects in the residential construction sector.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project programmes and schedules.
  • Collaborate with site teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to align on project objectives.
  • Produce critical path progress reports, forecasts, and plans for internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Work with the internal Costing team to accurately calculate and allocate resources for each project phase.

Requirements

  • Experience in construction planning, ideally within PBSA or BTR sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in ASTA construction project management software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • An ability to think critically and develop effective solutions to complex problems.
  • A high level of attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
