Manufacturing Technician Job Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our client's team in Havant. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts and components.

Key Tasks:

  • Operating CNC milling machines and lathes to fabricate parts according to specifications.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Setting up tooling and fixtures for machining processes, ensuring precision in production.
  • Inspecting finished products to verify adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely production schedules.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Basic experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in CNC machinery.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, welding equipment, and other fabrication tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.

The estimated salary for this position is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
