Job Title: General Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced General Assistant to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer providing fresh innovative food services to independent schools and colleges.

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic individual to assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner according to established menus and recipes.

The successful candidate will maintain the cleanliness of the front of house areas, including organizing dishes and utensils, and follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.

As a General Assistant, you will provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner according to established menus and recipes.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front of house areas, including organizing dishes and utensils.
  • Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
  • Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.


Requirements:

  • Ideally have experience working within education catering.
  • Have good health and safety knowledge.
  • Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer-focused.
  • Fun and enthusiastic.
  • Have excellent organization skills.
  • Demonstrate great attention to detail.
  • Be a team player and enjoy succeeding as a team.
  • Possess great customer service skills.
