Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Voyage Care Ltd. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.

About the Role: You will be working in our residential home in Sawston, Cambridge, supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Epilepsy, Dementia, and Cerebral Palsy. Our home is a welcoming and caring environment where we encourage our residents to participate in various activities, such as arts and crafts, music therapy, and holistic therapies.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing person-centred care and support to individuals with complex needs
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, including personal care and medication management
  • Encouraging independence and promoting physical and emotional well-being
  • Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Salary and Benefits: The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £11.78 per hour, plus enhanced evening and weekend pay at 50p per hour, premium overtime rates at £1 per hour, and access to various benefits, including Wagestream, Blue Light Card, and 24/7 doctor line. In addition, you will have the opportunity to complete a diploma and receive long service awards.
