About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Professional to lead the delivery of engagement activities with various stakeholders, including land managers, farmers, growers, scientists, policymakers, and the public, to promote wet farming practices (paludiculture) as a concept and an applied practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver a range of engagement activities, including onsite visits, offsite outreach, and the use of innovative outreach tools such as the 'Mobile Inspiration Hub' or 'Tiny House.'
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure effective communication and collaboration on project objectives and deliverables.
  • Provide support to the supervision of short-term Youth Internships, if required.

About the Project:

The Peatland Progress project aims to promote the adoption of wet farming practices (paludiculture) on farmed peat soils, with a focus on restoration and conservation of the Great Fen landscape.

About the Team:

You will be part of a small and dedicated team working on the transformation of the Great Fen landscape, a unique and exciting opportunity to make a real difference.
