About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Technical Lead to join our team at Counter Terrorism Policing. As a key member of our cloud platforms team, you will be responsible for shaping our new ways of working to support and develop national systems that keep the country safe.

Key Responsibilities:

* Act as a technical platform owner, developing medium to long term strategies for product lines
* Provide technical leadership and guidance through coaching and mentoring
* Lead the sharing of knowledge and good practice
* Own the development and operation of the cloud infrastructure
* Provide team and project leadership to ensure standards are met

Requirements:

* Excellent understanding of cloud platform technologies and security, preferably with Microsoft Azure/ and AWS Platforms
* Technical creative and confident to make decisions as the technical platform owner
* Ability to explain technical requirements to stakeholders who may not be technically literate
