Job Title: Transport Operations Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Operations Manager to join our team at Whistl. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transport fleet, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport Operations: Manage the daily operations of our transport fleet, including scheduling, dispatch, and delivery of goods.
  • Fleet Management: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our fleet, ensuring that all vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Driver Management: Supervise and manage a team of drivers, ensuring that they are trained and equipped to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Logistics Experience: Proven experience in logistics and transport operations, with a strong understanding of fleet management and driver management.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of drivers.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues.
