About the Role

The Resettlement and Integration team at Tower Hamlets Council Pension Fund supports asylum seekers and refugees, including Ukrainian and Afghan individuals. As a Contract Officer - Resettlement and Integration Specialist, you will provide resettlement and integration support to sanctuary seekers through regular check-ins and ensure that new residents have the necessary tools to settle in the borough.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage a caseload, ensuring sanctuary seekers are supported to integrate into the community.
  2. Work with internal and external partners to provide excellent community support, advocating as needed.
  3. Contribute to the effective running of the service, maintaining records, providing data, and contributing to service KPIs.

About You

  • Experience working with marginalized communities, including children and adults.
  • Experience making statutory referrals, including adult safeguarding, children's safeguarding, and housing.
  • Applications are welcomed from those who speak other languages (e.g., Arabic, Farsi, Pashto, Ukrainian, Russian, Tigrinya).
