At Carbon 60, we are proud to be partnering with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to recruit for a key role within the Technical Engineering department.

Lufthansa Technik is a global leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the civil aviation industry.

We have a permanent opportunity available due to continued growth and expansion. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will provide manufacturing engineering expertise to support shop floor operations at Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and produce manufacturing work instructions and documentation to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, tooling, supply chain, maintenance to drive process improvements.
  • Identify process waste and propose solutions to enhance productivity.
  • Analyse and report on production processes, methods, schedules, downtime, cycle times, availability of machines, and waste management.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair services to maintain production equipment operational efficiency.
  • Support the TPM (M) with structured problem-solving projects linked to project deliverables and day-to-day manufacturing issues.
  • Ensure compliance with Company's Environmental, Health & Safety, and Energy procedures.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in creating and producing manufacturing work instructions and documentation.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and basic metrology skills.
  • Understanding of mechanical aspects of manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication skills to work with production staff and process engineering.
  • Experience in metal component processing, including surface finishing operations for Aerospace components.
  • Strong IT knowledge, particularly MRP & ERP systems and MS Office products.
  • High analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
