Nursery Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our nursery team as a Nursery Support Specialist. In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality childcare and education to children aged 0-5 years.

The nursery is based in Newbury, and the ideal candidate will be able to commute to this location regularly. The salary for this position is £200 per week.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • To assist in maintaining accurate and effective records of children's progress and development
  • To help plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development
  • To support children with numeracy and language skills through play-based learning
  • To contribute to a positive and inclusive environment that promotes diversity and equality
  • To work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

What You'll Need

  • Previous experience in a childcare or education setting
  • Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent)
  • Paediatric First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
