Company Overview

Daniel Owen, a reputable social housing contractor, has experienced significant growth over the past few years. This has led to an increased demand for a Fire Risk Assessment Lead to join our management team.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that fire risk actions are reviewed and rectification works are completed efficiently. This will involve interpreting recommendations from customer fire risk assessments and deciding on the correct course of action.

We are looking for an individual with experience in the Fire & Life Safety Systems industry, holding a strong understanding of relevant British Standards. A NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management qualification or completion of FIA fire industry training courses would be an advantage.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Reviewing fire risk actions via 'Riskhub' software
  2. Interpreting recommended actions and deciding on the correct course of action
  3. Working closely with various departments to ensure efficient workflow
  4. Tracking outstanding actions resulting from fire risk assessments

This role offers a competitive salary of £58,500 per annum, including a car allowance of £5,000 per year and 10% annual bonus based on performance.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years experience in the Fire & Life Safety Systems industry
  • Strong understanding of relevant British Standards (BS5839-1, BS5839-6, BS7346-8, BS5266, BS8629)
  • NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management qualification or completion of FIA fire industry training courses desirable
