About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Windows Server Security Specialist to join our team at esure Group. As a key member of our DevSecOps team, you'll play a critical role in protecting our information systems and networks from security breaches and cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to security events and conduct improvements and assessments to ensure the integrity of our systems.
  • Manage the security and networking integration across esure Group, working closely with our multi-disciplined DevSecOps team.
  • Embed security tools and practices into our DevOps workflow, specifically on our CI/CD pipelines, to automate security checks.
  • Manage software vulnerabilities using tools such as Wiz, Sonarcloud, Cobalt, and other DevSecOps tools.
  • Detect and correct cloud and Kubernetes misconfiguration, providing guidance to our DevOps and development teams.
  • Provide training and education to staff on information security and promote good security practices.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability within a Networks team.
  • Committed to upskilling in all facets of cloud, including networking, security, infrastructure setup, and management.
  • Ability to analyze and generate Network Packet Captures.
  • Proficient in resolving network issues.
  • Solid grasp of cloud platforms and their network and security features.
  • Experience working on technical projects within a cross-functional team.
  • Familiarity with security tools such as static code analysis (SAST), dynamic analysis (DAST), and vulnerability scanners.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
