Job Description:

**About the Role:**
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Education Mentor to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a seasoned educator, you will be responsible for delivering bespoke tuition packages on a 1:1 basis to young people who are currently without a school placement.

**Key Responsibilities:**
• Create, plan and deliver tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupils' education and boost engagement and attainment levels.
• Reengage pupils in their learning and offer structure back into their daily routine, particularly those with low confidence levels due to extended time out of education.
• Work closely with us to monitor progression and support effective learning, ensuring each pupil receives the necessary support to reintegrate into a new school placement.

**Requirements:**
• Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Possess UK classroom teaching experience, with a proven track record of working with SEND or disengaged pupils.
• Be creative, patient, and willing to think outside the box, demonstrating a passion for innovative teaching methods.
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
