Exciting Opportunity for a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic team at Sanctuary Personnel Ltd. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for directing the day-to-day running of the clinical team, providing guidance and support to colleagues, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the day-to-day running of the clinical team, ensuring efficient workflow and effective communication.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and appraisals to ensure high standards of clinical care.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification in veterinary nursing (e.g., Level 3 Diploma or a degree in Veterinary Nursing).
  • Registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) or equivalent governing body.
  • Proven experience in a veterinary practice or hospital, with a strong background in clinical nursing.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues.
  • Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, diseases, and treatments, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a clinical setting.
