About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our team on a fixed-term contract basis. As a Senior Planner, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding advice on a wide range of development projects and planning issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-rate support to more senior members of the team on major, complex projects.
  • Manage a broad mix of planning instructions requiring diligent and timely research and analysis, provision of advice on the planning potential of land and property, and formulation of development proposals that meet client requirements.
  • Assist with the coaching and mentoring of more junior members of the team.
  • Assist with the implementation of the Team's Business Plan, helping to grow the business through various practice development activities.
Requirements
  • Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute with at least 2 years post-qualification experience.
  • Inquisitorial and a problem solver.
  • Highly analytical and numerate.
  • Good verbal communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ambitious and enthusiastic.
  • Experienced in both development management and development plan processes.
