About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a vital member of our security team, you will be responsible for protecting people and property by closely monitoring activities and reporting any incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular security patrols to prevent and deter unauthorized access to the site
  • Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV as appropriate
  • Issue visitor/contractor passes and deal with lost property
  • Provide support, guidance, and information to staff, visitors, and contractors while ensuring the safeguarding of the premises
  • Interact with others in a supportive way and in accordance with our Core Values

Requirements

  • SIA licence
  • RTW and 5yr checkable history
  • 2 years experience as a Security Officer
  • Flexible, professional, and adept at working under pressure
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and oral communication skills
  • Customer-oriented with a passion for high-level service
  • Polite and proactive
  • Able to use initiative and highly adaptable
  • Demonstrate the values of integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness
