Class 1 Driver Position

Hays Recruitment is currently seeking multiple Class 1 overnight drivers for our client in East Kent. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Shift Pattern:
  • Four days on, four days off
  • Ten to twelve hour shifts (days and nights)
  • Monday to Friday rate
  • Weekend rate
  • Night out allowance plus overtime
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate HGV vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Adhere to driver hours and road laws
  • Assist in loading and unloading at customer sites
  • Inspect vehicles regularly
  • Maintain accurate driver logs
  • Follow traffic laws and regulations

This role involves tramping for three nights on the road with brand new 2022 plate trucks equipped with a fridge and microwave.
