SCADA Engineer

Enzen Global Limited - UK is seeking a skilled SCADA Engineer to join our team. As a SCADA Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining standards, practices, procedures, and policies for our clients using SCADA, SCADA network, and SCADA telecommunications processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Develops and maintains standards, practices, procedures, and policies for Enzen's clients using SCADA, SCADA network, and SCADA telecommunications processes.
- Troubleshoots communication and remote equipment issues affecting the pipeline operations.
- Conducts Site Acceptance Testing to demonstrate and validate controls functionality.
- Taking ownership of technical issues and use your persuasive skills to work with 3rd line support to resolve more advanced issues when necessary.
- Responsible for the proper operation of all system software, hardware, and network.
- Assists with the maintenance of the computer operating system, network, and the control system package.
- Provides SCADA and Telemetry support and working with IT infrastructure on system issues and upgrades.
- Develops/updates custom application functionality, understands and supports external system interfaces.
- Built, modifies, tests, and designs screens/mimics and database records in SCADA to add new operations functions.
- Supports troubleshooting control equipment by providing diagnostic information to the field.
- Location must be work from office 2/3 days week from Sunderland client Location.
- Resolving escalated customer complaints without the need for team lead intervention.
- Participate in testing of new tools, applications, and releases; Participation in providing training to customers as required.
- Prepare excel based reports based on incident severity.
- Follow IT procedures e.g. ITIL and strictly complying with our policies.
- SCADA Software Development, Testing, and Support Experience
- Firm grasp of how web applications work, networking, and software products
- Good understanding of ITIL processes
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science required
